Off to the US Naval Academy

The sailors leave at 6:00 AM Friday morning to compete in the ISSA Double Handed National Championship regatta.


Two moms made a poster to hang on the front doors of New Trier. (Thanks Joslyn and Jan!) Everyone entering NT today saw the poster and, we understand, wished the team luck at the Nationals.

The event will be hosted by the Naval Academy and the competition will be tough. Like New Trier, several schools are returning to the event:


Newport Harbor HS, Pointe Loma (both from CA), HB Plant (FL), Milton Academy (MA), . George's School (RI), The Hotchkiss School (CT), Annapolis High School , and Severn School, (both from MD).


The weather looks "Iffy", rainy, light winds and clouds for the first day.
